A Partnership with NYC Department of Education

From November 2, 2023 to March 23, 2024, the Foundation welcomed over 500 NYC students and 125+ teachers to Making Their Mark. The Foundation’s partnership with New York City Public Schools has aimed to foster a welcoming, collaborative space for teachers to develop their curriculum and for student to be inspired.

During class visits, students had the opportunity to sketch drawings of the works by women artists in Making Their Mark. Back in their classrooms, they expanded upon these sketches, creating over 91 works for Making Their Mark: The Next Generation, a student exhibition on view during the last week of Making Their Mark.
