Making Their Mark Forum

March 5–7, 2026
Washington D.C.

The inaugural Making Their Mark Forum will be first-of-its-kind international gathering to celebrate the achievements of women artists, advance gender equity in the arts, and inspire action to effect lasting change. Launching during Women’s History Month and while the Foundation’s landmark exhibition Making Their Mark: Works from the Shah Garg Collection is on view at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, this three-day gathering will bring together leading figures across the visual arts ecosystem.

Bringing together leading global figures in contemporary visual arts and culture to champion the advancement of women artists, the Forum will engage in a series of crucial conversations, featuring dynamic panel discussions, keynotes, poetry readings, and performances, all designed to spark action and drive progress toward gender equity in the visual arts.

A full schedule of featured participants, speakers, programs, and related events will be announced in the coming months.
